About Me
- Basics: I'm 28 years old. I was born and raised in North-West Louisiana, lived in Dallas, TX for a few years, and I've lived in Madison, WI since 2006.
- Military Experience: I have been in the Army National Guard since 2001, my official job has been as a percussionist since 2004. Thanks to the Army, I've spent a bit of time at Fort Jackson, Fort Gordon, Aberdeen Proving Grounds and Fort Hood.
- Music Recording/Engineering Experience: I've been running sound, recording and mixing bands, and recording as a drummer since 1996, I began recording bands in Madison in 2006. I'm also part of the sound crew for the WI Army National Guard Band.
- Music Performance/ Formal Training: I've been playing drums since 1991, I've taken 2 high school years and 2 college semesters of music theory, 2 college semester of piano. I've attended numerous percussion/music clinics and camps including Berklee in L.A. (1997) given by the Berklee College of Music.
- Colleges Attended: Central Texas College (2002-2004), University of Louisiana Monroe (2004-2005), Madison Area Technical College (present)
- While attending ULM, I played quints
in the marching band and various percussion instruments in the percussion and wind ensembles as well as the symphonic
band and the ULM Orchestra. I was a fill-in percussionist for the Monroe Symphony Orchestra 4 times.
I also played drumset in the Jazz 2 ensemble, the basketball pep band, and various school musicals and recitals.
